Quilted Sapele Custom 5 string

This custom 5 features a stunning Quilted Sapele top that hides the neck through body construction. The neck is Hard Maple with Purpleheart stringers, and the back is African Mahogany. The body is extra slim at 1 3/8” to keep the weight down. The ebony fingerboard is adorned with Luminlay blue side dots. An ebonized layer between the top and back add a nice aesthetic touch. The pickups and electronics are quite involved on this one, the pickups are custom Simonetti Quad Coils. Each pickup having its own Free-way 3x3-05 switch allowing for Inline neck side coils, inline bridge side coils, standard and reverse P, all coils in series and all coils in parallel. The preamp is the Bartolini TCT with the MCT-3MC mid module, Active bypass and passive tone. The bridge is Hipshot and the tuners are Gotoh Res-O-Lite in black. The finish is Clean Armor matte clear.
