This 5-string bass features a stunning Quilted Maple top that is carefully center joined to seamlessly conceal the neck-through body construction. The fingerboard is crafted from Birdseye Maple, adorned with elegant Ellipse inlays made from Ebony, complemented by subtle Ebony edge dots for added detail. The neck itself is a robust 7-piece laminate, combining Walnut and Tiger Maple for strength and stability, while the body “wings” are crafted from Walnut taken from the same slab as the neck to ensure a perfectly uniform color and grain pattern. The bass is equipped with high-quality Black Hardware, including Gotoh GB 707 tuners, Schaller strap locks, and precise knurled metal knobs for a professional feel and reliable performance. The string nut and bridge saddles are made from Graph Tech TUSQ XL in sleek black, providing excellent tonal clarity and tuning stability. Ebony is used for the pickup covers, bridge, and tail cap, enhancing the instrument’s visual appeal with a rich, dark contrast. The electronics consist of Simonetti Fat Coil Humbuckers paired with CTS controls for master volume, pickup blend, and tone, all conveniently accessed via a top jack. Additionally, the control and truss rod covers are magnetically attached for easy removal and maintenance.
