To order an instrument contact me with your design and specs or which Simonetti Design and specs you’d like. I understand that ordering custom can be a daunting task, so I work one on one with you to ensure that what you have in your head ends up in your hands. You will be sent a full spec sheet listing all features and specifications, a price quote and an ESTIMATED build time. Once everything is finalized and a price is agreed upon a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to get your project started. Shipping fees are included in the price so I will need to know where the bass is being shipped with your design and specs. Your deposit sets your place in the build lineup and secures your price. No unexpected material price increases to the ORIGINAL specs will be passed on to you. Please note any changes made to your design or specs after the deposit is made may incur additional fees which will require a 50% non-refundable deposit to move forward and may extend the build time.

Once the bass is ready for the finish stage your balance will be due. Instruments normally ship within 4-6 weeks after your balance is paid, though some finished take longer and an adjusted time will be provided. At this point no changes are allowed. Projects left more than 30 days after balance due notification that have not been paid become property of Simonetti Basses and will be sold and any payments made will be forfeited.

Fair Warning:

Please beware that a bespoke instrument made to your design and specifications is in a whole different galaxy than an off the shelf, production model. I do not try to compete with import brands or other builders, nor will I match a lower price from another builder for your design and specifications. If you want exotic woods and features, please expect an exotic price tag. I will not make other company’s designs so please keep your design original.

Return Policy:

Custom order sales are final and only returnable for warranty work. Ready to ship instruments bought directly from the website or in person carry a 5 day return policy. If within 5 days after receiving your instrument you decide that you are not happy with the instrument, you can return it for a refund. Return shipping is the responsibility of the claimant and no shipping charges will be refunded. Returns must be in the original packaging and unaltered. returns will be inspected upon receiving and any damages may be deducted from the refund amount.
