This impressive custom design features a stunning Crotch Claro Walnut top, center-joined over a neck-through-body construction that ensures exceptional sustain and stability. The neck itself is a beautifully crafted lamination of Bubinga, Wenge, Tiger Maple, and Purpleheart, while the sturdy “wings” are made from Bubinga. With its slim neck taper and a 33” scale length, this 4-string bass plays like a true hot rod, offering both speed and comfort for the discerning player. The hardware is top-of-the-line Chrome Gotoh GB-707 tuners equipped with Dunlop Locks and knurled stacked knobs for precise tuning and control. The electronics consist of Simonetti Single Coils—skinny and tall models—flanking a Simonetti Fat coil humbucker that includes a series-parallel switch, providing versatile tonal options. Each pickup is paired with its own stacked passive volume and tone controls, complemented by a master stacked volume-tone pot to offer maximum control and flexibility. Adding to the high-quality components, the string nut and bridge saddles are made from Graph Tech TUSQ XL in black, known for superior tone and tuning stability.
