Custom 5 String

This one is truly a trip to the way back machine. Originally crafted in 2004, this stunning bass came in for some much-needed TLC and thoughtful upgrades. The neck features a sophisticated 5-piece laminate construction using Hard Maple and Bubinga, while the wings are made from solid Padouk, offering both durability and visual appeal. The fingerboard is crafted from rich Wenge wood, adorned with an intricate and beautiful inlay design. The neck boasts a custom ultra slim taper designed specifically for a 5-string, making it almost as comfortable and slim as a typical 4-string neck. The bridge is the esteemed Schaller roller bridge finished in sleek black, paired with Gotoh GB-7 tuners for precise tuning stability. The electronics consist of Simonetti Passive Humbuckers encased in elegant Bocote covers, complete with a master coil tap switch, master volume control, and a pickup blend knob. Additionally, it offers two tone pots with different value capacitors and a switch to alternate between them, providing a wide palette of tonal options.
