Custom 5 String

This one is a trip to the way back machine. Originally built in 2004 this beauty came in for some TLC and upgrades. The neck is a 5-piece laminate of Hard Maple and Bubinga and the wings are solid Padouk. The fingerboard is Wenge with a beautiful inlay design. The neck has a custom ultra slim taper for a 5 string, almost the size of a 4-string neck. The bridge is the venerable Schaller roller bridge in black, and the tuners are Gotoh GB-7. The electronics are Simonetti Passive Humbuckers in Bocote Covers with master coil tap switch, master volume and pickup blend, then 2 tone pots with different value capacitors with switching between the two.
