This Custom 8 string features a short multi-scale length with scalloping on the upper half of the frets. The single humbucker is complimented with piezo saddles for the 5 high strings leading to a Graph Tech midi hexpander board allowing for some really wild sounds to come out of this bass. The Bolt-on neck is a laminate of Bubinga and Wenge with a contrasting volute inlay. The fingerboard is a beautiful piece of Birdseye Maple that compliments the Spalted Maple carved top. The Wenge body features weight reducing chambers. The bridge and tail were custom designed to fit the multi-scale design and size.
